Activities from Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker (Part 1)

I did two things differently when reading this book for a second time. I used a dollar bill for my bookmark and I read with a two sided highlighter. This way I was constantly reminded what I was reading for and subconsciously I will begin associating read with money. As the saying goes, “a formal education will make you a living and self education will make you a fortune.”

Part 1: Money Blueprint

This chapter is all about changing your way of thinking and your energy by readjusting your “past programming” through your “money blueprint”

Highlighted Points:

“Your income can only grow to the extent that you do!”

“It’s what’s invisible that creates what’s visible.”

The four quadrants of life: Physical World, Mental World, Emotional World, Spiritual World

“What you hear, you forget, what you see, you remember; what you do, you understand.”

P -> T -> F -> A = R = Past Programming leads to Thoughts. Thoughts lead to Feelings. Feelings lead to Actions. Actions lead to Results. SO the biggest thing you can do to advance yourself is change your Programming. Adopt new ways of being.

“When the subconscious mind must choose between deeply rooted emotions and logic, emotions will will almost always win.”

ACTION EXCERSISES:

  • Awareness: Write down all the statements you heard about money, wealth, and rich people when you were young.

  • Understanding: Can you see that these thoughts represent only what you learned and are not part of your anatomy and are not who you are? Can you see that you have a choice in the present moment to be different?

  • Declaration: Place you hand over your heart and say “What I heard about money isn’t necessarily true. I choose to adopt new ways of thinking that support my happiness and success.” Then touch your forehead and say… “I have a millionaire mind!”

Focus on the power of intention and burning desires.

“If your motivation for acquiring money or success comes from a non-supportive root such as fear, anger, or the need to prove yourself, your money will never bring you happiness.”

“Security and fear are both motivated by the same thing.”

Believe you are plenty, you will validate that belief and create plenty of abundance. Why? Because plenty will by your root, while will then become your natural way of being.”

ACTION EXCERSISES:

  • Awareness: Consider the ways of being and habits each of your parents had about money and wealth. Write down how you may be identical or opposite to either of them.

  • Understanding: Write down the effect this modeling has had on your financial life.

  • Disassociation: Can you see this way of being is only what you learned and isn’t you? Can you see you have a choice in the present moment to be different?

  • Declaration: Place you hand over your heart and say “What I modeled around money was their way. I choose my way.” Then touch your forehead and say… “I have a millionaire mind!”

Aim for success, ease around money, work in balance and consistent income. Set up your programming to save money, manage money and picking winning investments.”

“Your income can only grow to the extent you do.”

“Consciousness is observing your thoughts and actions so that you can live from true choice in the present moment rather than being run by programming from the past.”

“Nothing has meaning except for the meaning you give it.”

“Beliefs are opinions that are passed around and around and then down from generation to generation to you. Knowing this, you can consciously choose to release any belief or way of being or way of being that is not supportive to your wealth.”

  • Declaration: Place you hand over your heart and say “I observe my thoughts and entertain only those that empower me.” Then touch your forehead and say… “I have a millionaire mind!”

Though this is a good summary of what the book as to offer, it simply does not measure up to the words shared in the book itself. If you would like to get the full scoop I highly recommend purchasing this book for yourself! (See link below)
