Pitching Yourself

Here is a basic template on how to pitch yourself. A friend of mine asked if I could help him with his pitch for class and if he found it helpful I figured you all might too... 

 How to pitch yourself:

Hello ______, my name is ______  ______ I’m an ambitious college student pursuing a career in business. I’ve chosen that field because I have a deep passion for ________. Since the beginning of my freshmen year I’ve done XYZ things (to prove that). I believe I would be a valuable asset on any team because I bring my 1.________ 2._________ and 3._______ in everything that I set my mind to. I would like to bring those skills and contributions to your organization in order to bring about greater purpose and accomplishment. Thank you for your time, here is my card. May I have yours?
